Dream A Little Dream explains: We loved styling this one. Our client brief was to stay away from any of the typical purples and aquas usually seen in Mermaid parties and no Disney elements what-so-ever! It had to be pretty and different. 

Inspired by seaweed, coral and vintage Mermaid illustrations this party involved alot of handmade decor.  Chiffon was cut to look like seaweed and handmade Jelly Fish hung from the ceiling with ruffled tentacles. Nautilus shells were filled with fresh blooms and hand wrapped chocolates in glass treasure chests graced the table along with other sweet morsels such as Seahorse Jelly Cups. There was even a mermaid tail balloon sculpture and bubble balloons on the walls.

GOLD & MINT MERMAID PARTY 

Illume Partyware loves gold and mint for a mermaid party.  Not only do they look magical together the mint green reflects the beauty of the sea while gold makes a stunning accent that reminds everyone of the glittery scales on a mermaid’s tail!

With a clever colour combination you can mix and match decorations and decor until it’s layered to your liking. Here our designer and stylist, Louise Lazendic mixed up gold & mint dots with napkins, cups, and straws featuring stripes in the same great gold and mint colours.
