TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR This Twinkle Twinkle Little Star themed baby shower styled by Simple Little Details is elegant and fun. A sweet classy blend of light blue and glittering gold. I hope you’ll enjoy this week’s inspiration. Here are the details as told by Simple Little Details: ‘This baby shower was special to my heart as it was celebrating my darling sister-in-law. We wanted a theme that was classy yet had touches of baby elements. I immediately thought of doing a ‘twinkle twinkle little star’ theme. We kept the color palette very soft with light blue, white, and gold glitter. As guests arrived they were greeted by the place card table that had a sign that said “twinkle twinkle little star, do you know how loved you are?” The place cards stood straight up and looked similar to a shooting star. I always love to have a unique place card table to help set the tone for the rest of the décor. The dining tables were covered in a soft blue linen and paired with gold chivari chairs. Each setting had a card for baby wishes and a customized pencil that said ‘twinkle twinkle little star’. The napkins were wrapped with a gold star ribbon for an extra special touch. Other fun details of the shower included a special chair embellishment for the mama to be with hanging glitter stars. We also made paper straws with a gold glitter star attached; it made for a fun way to sip lemonade. For the dessert table I used star balloons that I spray painted to a lighter champagne color and attached them to a blue backdrop to span the back of the dessert table. The table was covered in a gorgeous champagne sequins linen to add a little sparkle. The cake was an ombre ruffled cake with a sparkly gold cake topper that said “twinkle twinkle little star”. Some dessert details include star cupcake toppers, glitter wrappers and little wooden spoons that went along with the theme.’/a>
